My husband purchase a 2008 ford f450 in November. The motor blew up 6 weeks ago in texas. We live in ocala, fl. After almost 4 weeks they finally got a motor to the dealership. We were told by another dealership that the delay could be because the dealership wasn't paying there bills on time and that ford wouldn't extend credit to them. The vehicle is suppose to be getting a new motor in it.We were told last week that the motor was in the truck and it would be ready for pick up w/in a week. My husband called today and was told that the motor wasn't in the truck yet. And was given no time frame when it would be. My husband's business has suffered because of this. We have been lied to by the general manager of the dealership and ford's consumer team in texas. My husband uses this vehicle to work with so, he is out of work. We have been offered no compensation for the expense we have incurred which are around $2800. Not to mention the loss of income too.My husband and I are sharing a vehicle because we can't afford to rent one with only one income now. We don't know what else to do, we can't get any answers and are at our whits end. Ford doesn't care about there customers at all. Let's see how they would feel w/o there primary work vehicle for 6 weeks. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks for your time, kim reavis
