Google the words " ford explorer crack on rear tailgate", and you get a clearer picture of why so many consumers are outraged! For no rhyme nor reason at one point, a crack appears on numerous Ford explorers dating as far back as 2002. Every forum online reads the same message, "Ford will not take the blame and treats this like an isolated incident". As a frustrated consumer, I've begun to compile a folder of pictures that show random ford explorers with the same crack. Well Ford, we will not go gentle into that good night; we will fight, and fight before we go into that dark night!
