Ford Complaint

In July with 68,000 miles on my Taurus I blew the head gasket. I was quoted about $1800.00 TO repair or $800 for a replacement engine3 also with 68,000 miles.

Labor Day returning from Tampa airport the replace, emt car blue a gasket. with less that 2000 miles they say the warranty is no go9d because the tem got over 250 degrees and melted something which voided the warranty. Fixing this engine will cost around $900. What next. Can't afford another car. Retired and living on Social Security, Wife had stroke and need 24 hr care, can't stand for last 8 years.
