My husband and I were on top of the world getting ready to open up our own business, but as fast we made it up it all came tumbling down. My husband got hurt at the work, the business was taking longer and longer to get open. To make a long story short we lost everything, first the car, then the house. Everyone that said they would help us didn't. After a long year and half of everything being taken from my family,(me my husband and three kids) my husband was finally awarded ss. and is now going to back to school. With the money he awarded, we are renting a place to live and bought a used car from Real Deal Auto. 2000 Mercedes, the price was good paid cash so it wouldn't be taken from. The salesman at Real Deal told us to go to the nearest Mercedes Dealership to get keys made for the car. A week later my husband went to the Mercedes Dealership in Fort Washington paid them $151.00 to get two keys made. On April 24th Mercedes called and said the keys were ready, my husband went up and waited for them to come out and tell him that the car is unable to start becaues you are only allowed to make 8 keys per car. When my husband asked them if they were joking, they told him no and that he needed to find a way home because that car was going nowhere. My husband then said to the salesman I drove the car in and it was working fine and now you are telling because of key I can't drive it home, and he said yes if you need me I will be in my office and walked away. Now we live in Northeast Philadelphia. When called Real Deal Auto to explain what had happen and to see what they were going to do about since they are the ones that told us to go there, they said they never heard of such of thing and called the Mercedes place in Jersey. They said the you have to put the vin number into the computer to find out how many keys were made. everyone is putting the blame on everyone else and now it has been 3 weeks and still have no car, Mercedes doesn't return any of my calls. We now have to take the bus to get the kids to there sports if we can't find a ride. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I am just hoping that someone can help me before I lose this car to. It hard trying to explain to your kids why we are losing everything.
Thank you for your time,
Heather
