I'm a single mother and a full time nursing student. I've rented a home on the Pittsburg area. Shortly after living in the house a gas leak was found and ran the gas bill up 400.00 dollars in one month for a two bedroom house. Soon after contacting the land lord the leak was repaired and I the rent am being stuck with the bill. I've contact PG&E multiple times over the last 7 months about the wasted gas and the mounting bill. I have provided PG&E the documents requested 3 different times to resolve this issue of wasted gas and the bill. PG&E management states I have to pay the bill in full even if I never used the gas and they will conduct a investigation a possibly refused my money if they find that I didn't use the gas. It's been 9 months and PG&E has done nothing as far as their investigation but blame me for not paying the boll. PG&E claims I never sent the paperwork then finds It now claims its lost. Again I have resent, FAX, mailed and hand cared the same documents to PG&E to get this matter resolved and nothing is being done. At this time my service has been turned off because I refuse to pay for a service I never used and PG&E has failed to investigated as promised.
