Purchased bracelet as Christmas gift on 11/22/05 while on trip to Monterey, CA. Bracelet cost a bit over $100.00. Purchased 4 pieces to total $428.00 that day.
Gave bracelet to daughter for Christmas. She wore it twice out to dinner and the second time it fell off her wrist on the way to the dinner table on New Year's eve. No dancing or other had occurred.
The company, Elegant Illusions' states that the bracelet was pulled and therefore will charge $22 to repair. It was not pulled! They refuse to replace it, refund our money, or even send it back to us, unrepaired, without a fee. They want us to pay shipping to send it to our San Jose, CA home.
I have talked to the Supervisor of the Cannery Row store, the location of the purchase. I have called the corp office. I have requested to a call of the Regional Manager, and been told; ' no, She is not calling you!'
The corporate office said I can purchase another bracelet at 40%off!. Why would I spend more money in that store!
