on May 7, 2011. I subscribe to Vonage phone service. On May 7, I was unable to connect with Vonage phone service. I immediately called Verizon to notify them that Vonage did not work in my home. The Verizon representative told me not to worry they would not connect by phone or Internet. The next day I did not have phone service or Internet. I used my cell phone to call Verizon home phone service. I explained the problem again I was told no problem my phone would be reconnected. It was not. I have spent at least eight hours on the phone with Verizon. (Using my cell phone), and borrowing my neighbors phone. I have been given confirmation numbers, you phone numbers, and the promise by phone would be working. Today is May 21 I've spent at least three hours on the phone this morning, my neighbors phone. I have talked to 4 Verizon representatives. The first call approximately 9 o'clock this morning I was on hold for 40 min. and my cell phone died. I borrowed my neighbors phone and recalled and explained the situation again I asked to speak to a supervisor. I also asked for the operators identification number. She refused to give me her identification number that I could look on my bill. I insisted speaking with a supervisor she said if I insisted on speaking with the supervisor she would hang up on me which she did. I placed another call I spoke to someone called Beatrice who got me a supervisor. I explained the situation again that I had no phone for over two weeks. I gave him one of the confirmation numbers I had been given which he said it never been completed. My neighbor had called the night before and they had given her a number which they said would be working by midnight. It was not working. I explained all of this to get into the supervisor. He said the confirmation was never approved or completed, he said he had no idea what the phone number was for but it was not for me. He transferred me to somebody else to make me agree to take Verizon which I have done at least eight times now. He said the soonest they could possibly get my phone back on was possibly next Tuesday. Which will be 24 May 2011. I was transferred to the I believe they called VPA representative private party that OKs Verizon. After answered all their questions. My neighbors phone rang again I went outside to take the call, it was Verizon again saying that I had to redo the approval again. Last night the Internet came on, I went to the Verizon home phone service site. I looked at my bill, I wrote to Verizon. My bill stated my number was still in working order and that on 16 May I will old them another $92.63. I have had no phone service since May 7. I have been told that on Tuesday the 24th I will have service. I also have been told that I may not have understood what was going on indicating that I have no sense. I cannot use my cell phone where I live, due to the bad connection that Verizon has here in the mountains I have no way to call 911 or any other number. Verizon is rude, unable to complete a request. Verizon has no right to tell me that I am not smart enough to understand.
