I've been trying to apply for Unemployment for the past 2 weeks. The EDD Online system makes it impossible. The telephone automated system says in a kind voice "The Easiest way to apply for unemployment is online". When I go online, I'm asked to answer theese 5 questions on this lynk

It tels me this
"Phone Call Required
The answers you provided to the questions on the previous page indicate that special handling is required to file your unemployment insurance claim. Please call the toll-free telephone number below for assistance in filing your claim for unemployment insurance benefits."
When I call the line it eventualy tells me "We are taking more calls than we can handle, a bunch a giberish and hangs up on me, and inbetween all that crap it again states, "the fastest way to file is online..." So it I now found my self going in this circle of no service here.
I called EDD Payroll Tax Line, and to no surprise I was able to get a hold of somebody???? This is ridiculouse considering that they will answer a call to collect taxes 5 days a week and have no BS loops that end with no customer service comunication but the best time to call for un-employment is Wensday and Thursday and that still won't guarantee that you will talk to somebody. I thinks what is goin on here is ILEGAL. I should have acces to an online aplication to file unemployment especialy if they can't handle the phone call volume they are getting.
