In January 1999, DuPage County terminated my employment while on a Doctor's Work Restriction, while resolving a hypertension issue. This stemmed from harassment orchestrated by management, that this entity's Personnel Department ignored numerous complaints, beginning August 21, 1998 and followed through until my termination. This would have been considered as 'An Unfair Labor Practice,' as this was retaliation for my union preference.
In order to gain summary judgment in their favor, DuPage County employed private attorney's, John H. Kelly and Stephen H. DiNolfo from The Law Firm of OTTOSEN, TREVARTHEN, BRITZ, KELLY, & COOPER Ltd. These attorney's submitted a Highway Department over-time agreement form that was forged with a signature sheet that was obsolete and signed 4 years earlier than the one submitted that would have been a current document had I actually signed this. The tampering of this document was very obvious. Attorney's are responsible for any submissions made to the court, yet even a Federal Judge, Senior Judge Paul E. Plunkett did not stop or care about fraudulent documents into his court.(00 C 3158)
This was plagued with corruption and all attorney's in this matter were brought and paid for by this entity in order to win. The States Attorney, Joseph Birkett was handed this complaint in 2002 when the fraud was discovered and was ignored. This is typically the 'Obstruction of Justice' that is commonplace in this corrupted entity and how he protects those that hold appointed positions that commonly abuse employees and discriminate against Veterans like myself.
This entity has discriminating policies and also have included to discriminate against person who have formerly been employed by union shop, to avoid any reoccurrences of 1998. I am a Disabled Purple Heart Veteran with a service-connected disability that this entity discriminated against.
