Dry-Tech Systems Complaint

Company Defrauding Their Employee's

- 22212 Camay CT, Calabasas,CA 91302
Hi It's a company that goes by the name of Dry-Tech Systems, that is defrauding their employee's. Ok here's the story. They ask you to become a Personal Contractor for there company passing out brochures, running Ads in your local newspaper,Etc..(Marketing),for people to own there own Carpet Cleaning Business. So when the customer call in from the brochure that the Contractor advertised and give the contractor code(CL---), off the back of the brochure, and place an order, the contractor is suppose to make $1,200 off of each of the machine's purchased. But in reality this is not what is happening. This company is not paying anyone they are only defrauding their contractor's ,and telling them no one has placed an order.

In reality Dry-Tech Systems are only using the contractor's for them to market there products, and no contractor's are getting paid for there work.Dry-Tech Systems are keeping all of the profits. And if someone don't put a stop to them doing this, they are getting millions of dollars in marketing ,and making a fortune, by keeping the contractor's money as well. And I will not stop until this company gets what it deserve.

They are going to either pay these contractor's or , be put out of business. If I have to go around the world to get my story heard I will. I will not stop just here until someone bring them to justice.

I was thinking about buying this system but not if they are fraudulent.

Posted by ghostwoghost on 10/05/2007
This same company is also, the Zaken Corp. that has the same type of scam going on for the ZLC Liquidation Program... the 'come-on' letters are almost identical. There should be something done to these guys. This is fraud and much more. I have been reviewing this all day in consideration, until I came to this site with this article. I was saved from another 'scam' like this months back from a site called the 'Rip-Off Report.' There is an abundance of this kind of goings on. I hope someone can push on 'Karma' toward these guys, Eric Z. Levne and Rick Armstrong, if that is their real names.

Thank you sooooo much for this blog,as I was going to move forward and invest my time, money and energy into Dry Tech,I can't thank you enough.

Thank you,
I was going to invest in this, even so far as actually purchasing the equipment. I can't afford another scam, again, thank you.

Thank you for your feedback, I was considering both companies, ZAKEN and DRY_TECH. You have saved me time, money and aggrevation. Mike

Unfortunately, I have to admit I must be one of their lastest scam victim. I've been conducting business for them as a leadfinder, for about a couple months now. I have been in contact with the business a few times, regarding some deep concerns, doubts, and confusions. Evidently, they never provided any direct explanations or solid proof backing their excuses, for why things aren't projecting any results. Especially, after all the fliers, ads, and business cards passed out. Moreover, posting ads online. Yes, I truly agree, that something has to be done. Not only to be put out of business, but prosecuted for all the money they've stolen from the people. RIPPED-OFF n ANGRY

There are some ongoing sales of consumables. But do the math: he sells one machine (that must cost something) for $98, then sends you $1200? You know that isn't how it works. Someone is getting scammed.

I just received a letter in the mail from Dry-Tech Systems. I didn't even get to the second page before I googled the name and this website popped up. I hate getting these things in the mail and knowing that there are innocent people out there getting scammed by these A**h****. I am going to send a letter to the address on the letter telling them to F*** Off.

I got this Envelope from 8920 Quartz Avenue, Northridge, CA 91324- 1 800 352-5009 yesterday.

I read the many pages, and looked up the company (Dry-Tech Systems)online, and this was the third link from the top.

Maybe Eric Levine fiquires the majority of the people receiving this envelope (do not have online access)will not do their research to prevent being S C A M M E D !!!

Thanks for this ad, I got the scam in the mail and looked it up and found this.

Posted by leo..lujan on 09/08/2008
I lost 149.00 plus shipping and have tried getting referrals and they claim they have gotten nothing from my CL. I called within the 60days for refund and was told to wait closer to the 60 days end. I called before the 60days were up and some clown by the name of Marcos told me Andrea did not work there anymore and that I was not eligible for any refund cuz the time had expired. He gave me a false name and address and phone number of someone that had inquired about a set up with my CL. I called the number and it was not a good number. So they are a scam. I am on board for closing them down as soon as possible. Anyone who is actively working on closing this guy down let me know and I will join you from here.

Posted by jgililland on 09/14/2008
Well, I almost tried it but had the good sence to check it out first as I have been scammed before.

There has to be a way to find legitimate home business opportunities out there. I know they exist I have worked some.

It is ever increasingly difficult to figure out what is real.

Are there any websites dedicated to this? IF not we should start one for ourselves.

Thanks for the warning.

Posted by dogsma on 09/16/2008
Thank you. Already got scammed by Zaken...Glad I had the sense to look up Dry Tech Systems. Figured it sounded too good to be true. Thanks again.

Posted by dvanbibber406 on 09/19/2008
I was dumb enough to respond to dry-tech's mailing offer to me to be one of those "lead-finder" positions. Since signing up to do so I have changed my mind, but I have been unable to get in contact with a Mr. Marcos who supposedly is the only person who can authorize the return of data thay have sent me. I've called about 12 times in three days but keep getting the run around. I actually spoke to Mr. Marcos at one point but he put me on hold ands never got back to me. This looks like a total scam to me, so don't fall for it. Ihave a solution, since I have avery customer friendly credit card company I'm going to call them and have them not allow the $174.00 charge from Dry-tech to go through.

Obviously, they are not going to get back to me. Don't be as dumb as I was. This nothing but a total scam.

I am a Lead Finder and I dont know how some people dare to post lies about Dry Tech!
I am a Lead Finder for over a year and let me tell you that this program is the best of all that are out there. Me and my wife make good commissions on a monthly basis. Dry Tech is giving us a great service and good advices. We are making money from sending them qualified leads that buy their carpet cleaning equipment. Our daughter in Florida also became a Lead Finder a week ago and already she made her first commission. If people will take this program seriously, they will start make good commission. Believe me I used a lot of programs out there, you name it, and I never saw a one red cent. My wife signed up to the lead Finder program A little over a year ago. I was sceptical at first but actually we made fairly easy our first commission after only 4 days!!
Thank You Dry Tech for an excellent program and I wish there were more like you out there! Ralph

Posted by pkaren5214 on 10/14/2008
I am just curious how you know that the contractors are not being compensated for their referrals. Do you know someone who has signed up but the contractor did not receive the commission. If so, that would be considered solid proof of fraudulant activity.

Posted by missmonica2526 on 10/20/2008
I am a former employee of Dry-tech and I really want people to know that this program does not work. It is a scam. I worked in the resolutions dept and my job was to convince the people who wanted a refund, to continue with the program. I was not very good at this job because hearing these people's stories of how they spent all their money on this program and had not made a dime, was very heartbreaking. I wasn't there long before I realized this was not a company that I wanted to be apart of. I did my research and found that no one makes commission. They sucker you into thinking that you are going to make big commission and it is not true. I really want to stress to the families of people that are getting involved, DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY! It's just really sad that Eric Levine can actually own a company that leads people to believe that they are really going to make money and then rips them off. Sure they offer you a refund but it will be months before you actually see that refund and they will try their hardest not to give you a refund. It seems that many of the people who were getting lured into believing that they can actually make money are the people who are retired and looking to make extra money. I understand that times are hard right now but I really do hope that you believe me when I say that you are not going to make money this way. All the positive posts that I see from people saying that they make money are just people that work for the company or Eric Levine himself trying to trick people into thinking that people are making money. It's a lie. Do not invest in this company, do not sign up for the GOLD PROGRAM OR LEAD FINDER Or any other program they try to swindle you to get into. It's about time that someone puts a stop to these companies that are ripping people off.

I never dealt with any other companies programs that actually work except Dry Tech. It is a great Company with great employees and most importantly best commissions and rewards for my work

Actualy I worked with Dry Tech when I was back in the states for a few short months and I never had a problem. They were always willing to help and I actually made one sale before I left. I wish I could work this program from where I am but it is impossible.

I dont know about you but I am making lots of commissions with the Lead Finder program. I think that some of you are not doing something right. I got to this program through another successful leadfinder who is a close friend of mine.

I was scamed a first with dry tech, I became a Lead finder passed out 2,000 bussines cards and not 1 sale...So I called thier office to purchace
this carpet cleaning business gave my CL No and sill dindt get a commission until I called 2nd time and told them what I did, then they gave me a $1,200. Discount off my purchace.

Posted by amcglocking2 on 12/23/2008
Thank God, I found this site about this scamming business. I was scammed by the company that came out with the portable phone chargers AATCM. I recieved my first order for these chargers, I then placed a larger order for $1,200 and got no chargers or money returned and noone called me back or responded to me emails. I contacted the BBB, they suggested a lawyer that I could not afford at the time.

Couple weeks ago I received another of his kids clothing letters and today one of his Dry Tech affiliate letters.

Over the past 10 years I have received a couple dozen of his letters.

I wounder just how much this fella has scammed out of people in all these years.

Perhaps I'll hear or read of his prosecution before I die.

The shame of it is he is only one of tens of thousands more just like him.

I mean, just look at the big pharma's, oil, and our congressmen that gave themselves another huge raise last month what with the mess our economy is in. And those bank CEO taking $50 plus million of our tax dollars for their own comp. last month.

The list just keeps going on and on. These guys didn't leave much for Obama to work with.

The United States is bankrupt. It is over. End Game. It was the greatest while it lasted.

Hell I had to send a couple bullet proof vest to my 2 sons in Iraq plus thousands in other supplies because the military isn't doing it.

Hey, thanks you guys, I got my letter today! And yes it sure did sound good. I almost sent the check before checking it out, it sounded that good! And I have to give my wife the credit, she saqid "You better check it out first". And boy! mi'm glad I did, You guys sure saved me some money.
By the way, to 'SW01fl': Have faith, the US of A is still going strong, we'll come out of this recession bigger and better than ever!!

I think the BBB has made a mistake on this one and they are unfairly scaring off customers. I've read the complaints on both the BBB website and another "scambusters" site. They nearly all sound like the results of not understanding or not following the terms of the offer. The "ex-employee" remarks sound like grudge-holders as much as whistleblowers, causing me to appreciate the Trustlink website's policy stating "Do not submit a company review if you are an employee or former employee."

Evaluating the BBB statistics, 31 complaints over a 3-year period do not seem unreasonable given people's propensity to have unrealistic expectations of both the business opportunity and themselves. Nearly all complaints were made about two years ago, and none recently. That is certainly time enough for Drytech to have corrected itself. As for problems obtaining refunds, I find the company's responses to the individual complaints quite plausible.

Starting a home-based business takes more know-how than a company's cookie-cutter instructions can provide. I know, I have tried and failed at many. As a result of what I learned, my husband and I started up our own carpet-cleaning business a few years ago. We quit because of cancer, but if we were to do it over again we would definitely use the Drytech system. We've checked out their equipment and technology and found it to be superior. The Drytech system costs very little more than it cost us to build our business from scratch, and all the help they provide would shortcut the process tremendously. We've had our carpets cleaned by one of their successful affiliates and been pleased with the whole experience.

I'm writing this to declare confidence in this company, and with my background perspective, I intend to become a leadfinder for them. Thank you for providing a public disclosure of negatives for gaining a balanced view of the company.

Posted by acgirl416 on 05/11/2009
I'm not sure why Drytech worked for me, but it did. I bet you almost every single one of you who has posted negatively on this website, never really tried to make money. Money doens't fall off trees, it doesn't come to you in candy flavored wrappers

Posted by CaKitchi on 05/24/2009
Hello
I am about to go into dry tech and I have read
about the scams. What I think is you need a
honest coach and not a coach or person in
the company keeping the money or sharing the
money with a another lead finder to cover him
or her. sometime it is not the company but the
person within the company. If someone ran through
the code numbers and all the commissions on where
who got what money and when they will get rid of
all the crooks and keep the honest people and then
all the people not some but all will get their commissions

Posted by cashflow112233 on 06/19/2009
I just got their offer in the mail and was almost tempted to send them a post dated check - but I decided to check them out since the letter reminded me of a Zaken offer I almost fell for a couple of years ago. After a check on the internet and almost all negative comments, I ripped the letter and half and threw it into the garbage. Think about it - there is no way for you to verify if you are making any sales - you hand out hundreds or thousands of brochures with your name and code on them, but you have no way to tell if they got a sale - you are relying on their honesty and there are more crooks out there instead of honest Abe's. Be careful with affiliate programs where you can't verify or track sales YOURSELF, or stick with programs where you get paid directly. Stick with big name affiliate programs like Clickbank or Commission Junction.

Posted by scottgalliway on 06/27/2009
Thank you Thank you, I almost bought into this scam to be a Dry-Tech Lead-Finder. However, I've been scamed before and know enough now to investigate these opportunities, before jumping. This bullshit, is TO-GOOD-TO-BE-TRUE!!! I did the math and there is no-way they could pay anyone that kind of money per sale of a unit, they would be out of business in less than a year. If anyone else is thinking about doing this

Posted by leora2046 on 08/03/2009

Thank God I did not go any farther than this.
The only thing this cost me was "shoe leather" and a sunburned face passing out their lies.
I haven't sent them any money and now I am
going to send back their "junk" at their expense!
I will be informing the Post Office of their
shameful display of disregard for human decency!
I walked around 5 miles delivering,and didn't
spend any money doing it,so I got off easy.
I called on their toll free number.
Believe me when I say,"they are the losers"
That doesn't mean everything out of the West
Coast is bad. Some things are good!
Sincerely,
Jeanette Leora Clanzy

Well here it is, nearly two years later, and they are still pulling the same thing. This has got to be one of the most crooked companies around. BEWARE, they lie, cheat, and steal you blind. Don't fall for their promises because all they will do is make up false reports to keep your money. BBB hasn't helped because of the lies they tell. Just don't fall for their scam. You won't make any money, and they will take all you have.

It is funny how all of you can judge a company by what everyone else it saying by it this site does not even provided a rebuttal area which in my opinion is unfair to the company. Youhave to know bioth sides of the story to reach a verdict. This is not the case here provide a rebuttal page and then consider these complaints!

Posted by newmanlynne3 on 01/02/2010
I have worked for this company for four years! I know the inside scoop. All the complaints ARE TRUE!
I have witnessed unreturned phone calls when people requested refunds within the 30 days allowed but couldn't contact anyone for that! I have seen so much, too much, and finally quit.... Wendy

One of my best friend, Constantinos Mihelis was sucker by Dry-Tech Systems, for upwards of $10,000. Sorry to be frank, but he was virtually begging to be suckered. After he sunk almost $3,000 and he informed me of his investment, I hopped online and proved to him what I already suspected, by showing that the Better Business Bureau gave them an F rating. Can you believe he sunk thousands more into this. If Dry-tech didn't sucker him, somebody else would. Apparently, my buddy has a hard lesson to learn. Sorry Coz, but you insisted I stage a complaint, so here it is. Don't worry, God works in all things for the good of those who love him.

I am also with good terms with them. I did get commissions from them. At least 3 times. I wish I had more time to spend on that. Also,I love their detergents and equipments and my customers as well!

Posted by rcalabro on 05/17/2010
Wow, you have all save me from making a huge mistake. I received the letter today from Dry-Tech and was ready to call the toll-free number to become a lead finder. I decided to do a scam search on Dry-Tech and found this site as well as many others.

There are people who know that their leads generated sales and never received a commission on these sales. I'm convinced that the positive responses here are from people working for the company and not from actual lead finders.

I'm on disability and do some freelance website work from home and thought this could be an excellent way to generate an excellent income. But it didn't make sence that they would pay $1,200 for a lead that only put $98 down. That was a red flag for me and one of the reasons I did this scam search.

I make extra money distributing jerky products and it is not huge money, but at least it's real and I do get paid. If you're looking for a legitimate business for just a $12 investment, then check out www.bestgourmet.jerkydirect.com and click on the Opportunity tab.

I urge everyone reading this to not gamble your money on Dry-Tech and I thank everyone for posting their scam reports.

God bless,
Rosemarie

WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO DRYTECH??? I MADE ABOUT $1,200 in a Day! ... “I’ve been looking for a better way to make more money in less time.
I examined maybe 15 more home business opportunities. I really liked the DRY-TECH carpet cleaning business. But I didn’t want to put in more than 5 or 6 hours a week. Then I learned I could become a DRY-TECH Lead Finder. Just looking for people who wanted to become carpet cleaners. Bingo! I’ve found my first affiliate a day after my package arrived. That earned me $1,200.00 in less than 24 hours, followed by an additional $4,800 within 45 days!” - Bret Donavan, Seattle, WA 6 new affiliates in a month! ... “I found DRY-TECH 6 affiliates just in my first month. And I don’t think I spent more than 4 or 5 hours.” — Christin Adatto, San Antonio, TX

I tried Dry Tech Systems about a year ago prior to checking them out. I put a good effort towards making it work. Placed ads, promoted this company and was avoided when requested a refund, so I chucked it up as a loss of $149.00. All you so called prosperous lead finders that want to call someone lazy need to check yourself. Not all of us are lazy. So keep your comments to yourself.
Now a year later I get a letter in the mail from Dry Tech Collection Management stating that I owe them $190.00. When I called them I get a recording so I leave a message letting them know I owe them nothing and will not be sending them anything. This young girl calls me back about five minutes later. I ask her what I was being billed for. She could not answer me. When I told her I was not going to be paying them for nothing, she states I owe them for their service. I said for what, I requested a refund and was ignored. Now you want to bill me for nothing. She stated that they were going to put it on my credit. I told them to go ahead and then I will have my attorney take the matter up for me and hung up. Let’s see what happens. If they put it on my credit report, I am going to sue them, and I mean that……..

Sounds like a lot of people have problems with this company. I got a package of info from them and now since I'm checking it out, hardly anybody has anything positive to say about it. That's usaully not a good thing. The idea that they won't honor their gaurantee is really causing me to think it's not for.

I got the letter 1/14/2012.
Sounds to good to be true.
If it was that good they would not be asking us to send them $150.00 to pass out their brochures.I think their only income comes from people who send them $150.00. Keep your money.
