DOUBLE DIPPED - ELECTRICITY

MY WIFE AND I RECENTLY MADE A CHECK BY PHONE DEPOSIT FOR LIGHTS FOR $280.00 ,( IN SEPTEMBER ) WHEN SHE CALLED TO PAY THE ONE FOR THE OTHER METER THEY TOLD HER THAT THE FIRST ONE HAD NOT GONE THROUGH SO SHE DID A SECOND CHECK BY PHONE FOR $280.00. SOON ALMOST EVERY CHECK I WROTE BOUNCED AND I DIDN'T KNOW WHY. MY STATEMENT SHOWS ONE DRAFT FOR $280.00 ON 9/25/09 AND ANOTHER FOR $280.00 ON 10/13/09. THE AUTOMATED ASSISTANT SAID A PAYMENT HAD BEEN MADE FOR $560.00. THE LIVE PERSON SAID ONLY THE $280.00 EVEN THE SUPERVISOR COULD NOT FIND IT. HE COULDN'T EVEN LISTEN TO HIS OWN AUTOMATED SYSTEM, WHICH HAD THE AMOUNT CORRECT. HE SAID HE WOULD ISSUE A REPORT. AND SOMEONE WOULD GET BACK TO ME, UNTIL I ASK IF THE WERE REALLY GOING TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT, BECAUSE IF NOT I WILL GO AHEAD AND TAKE IT UP WITH THE STATE OR A CONSUMER WATCH GROUP
HE SAID THEY TURNED IT OVER TO THE CUSTOMER ISSUES TEAM. WE WILL SEE ! IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE RESOLVED WITH IN 24 HOURS 1
