I brought my car into the Doral Hyundai dealership to get an estimate on some body damage.The dealership took it upon themselves to go ahead and repair my car without my consent and ultimately footed me with a $7,135.00 Bill which also included $1,700.00 In storage fees. They placed a mechanics lien on my vehicle because I refused to pay that crazy bill. Now I'm trying to regain my car back because I am continuing making payments on my car to capital one auto finance.I do not know what to do. According to the Florida statute this dealership did not follow the proper procedures because they failed to notify me via certified mail within 15 days of the imposition of the storage fees and the unauthorized repairs done on my vehicle.
