I used freeapartmentlist.com as an apartment locator. I was connected with an agent Kevin Yaun, thoughout the time I was looking for an apartment. I found one in November, informed him that I had signed a lease and did my rebate applicaion. The coplex requires that you live here and pay rent for 3 months before they pay whomever you used on the application a finders fee. January was my third month. Kevin was paid in January. I spoke to him and he informed me that a check someone else had given him bounced and he would not be able to pay me until the end of the month, if not sooner. I told him I didn't feel as though I should have to wait, but if I had too I would. I have been calling his cell phone, he won' answer my calls or return them. I have left him numerous messages. Kevin Yaun was paid for me using his sevice and I was suppose to be paid a rebate as well. I feel as though this company is a fraud. I just moved to Texas from Pennsylvania and my first encouter with an apartment locator was a bad one. Not only that the number on their web page is disconnected.
