So many contests and sweepstakes are offered all the time, but none surpasses the Publisher's Clearing House in appeal and coverage. But I have done all the things they have required for each contest many times - AND THAT IS A LOT OF WORK!! And I have not only never won anything. I have never heard of anyone living anywhere around me winning anything.
Does anyone make sure these businesses actually give what they advertise? The people they show in commercials receiving prizes - did they really get anything? Were they paid to act surprised?
This isn't earth shattering important. But a lot of people would watch any coverage you would give to this. PCH said they were giving a prize of $1000 a day for life the end of October. Every day for two months I went through layers of crap in my e-mail trying to stay in the contest. The end of October I not only did not hear of anyone winning that prize, but now they are offering another one that is $1M PLUS $5000 a week for life to be given the end of November. Is this in addition to the first one? How can any company give away a prize like this and stay in business?
