In August 19,2009 I bought a Frigidaire wall oven that I did not use no more than maybe ten times for the year I had the oven. On August 29,2010 the door on the oven came of the hindges while I was cooking Sunday dinner for friends. When the oven gets hot the oven door hinges seem to swell and I had a hard time opening the door. When I called Frigidaire and told them my issue after much debate about me being ten days pass my factory warranty they agreed to send a repair man to evaluate the situation with the oven and the would pay for parts and labor and I had to pay for the diagnostic. After the repair man check the oven I was told that the oven could not be repaired and that I would need a new oven. Afetr submitting all of his paper work to Frigidaire they told me they could not replace the oven I would have to buy a new oven with the manufacture of their choice and the would send me a rebate of 70% of the purchase price. I explained to the Frigidaire representative that I was unemployed and making another purchase was something I could not afford to do at this time. I have exhausted all of unemployment and have unable to get a job and have just about exhausted all of savings. I also had an attorney write a letter on my behalf regarding this matter to no avial to this date I have not had any type of reply one way or the other. After doing some research and talikg to the repair man he said my oven was not the first oven by frigidaire that has had the same problem and on the web there other people who has had problems with the fridgidaire products. I just want them to know that they need to stand by their product. No one should buy any type of appliance and it goes out on them in one year where they force you to have to buy the warrantyn and you still may have a problem. Can you help
