I am a 60 year old female and attending college in Computer Science. For a final I needed to do a PowerPoint presentation and needed to download a song. I went to a couple of sites for free downloads. Kazaa.com offers a Free Music Download. The first page that you complete on line doesn't appear to be threatening because they don't ask for any personal information. It is just your name, home phone, mobile, email, and email password. The second page ask for your credit card. At this point I completed nothing, exited and purchased a song form Itunes for a couple of dollars. I spotted some unual charges on my phone bill $19.95. In contacting AT&T they informed me that this company has billed me for two month and they are not charging me that the company is even though it is on my bill. I called the company and they stated, you download songs and signed up although there is nothing on the site that you sign up for. When they access your computer, email, they will even give you the last 4 didgits of you social. SCARRY HUGH! Keep it in mind that they are on you computer. Do not, and inform your kids looking for music provide your home phone number or use KAZAA. COM
