I purchased a dishwasher from Sears on 7/2/11 & it was delivered 7/9/11 and installed at that time by 2 sub contractors sent by Sears....I discovered water coming up from under my dining room rug on 8/16/11....I live in a mobile home and when the plumber came out that day and found the dishwasher was leaking he cut the protective covering for my insullation under my kitchen and he said more than 5 gallons of water just gushed out....Serve Pro came out the next day and gutted the entire front of my home - I now have been living without rugs, flooring and the kitchen sink on a wooden support...no back wall where the kitchen cabinet used to be..There are holes in the kitchen floor that I have taped so that bugs don't get into the home....the floor is so soft you can be sure that if I was heavy I would go right thru the floor....no lie...this is all fact....the dishwasher is now sitting in the corner of my dining room.....I have staples that stick up from the particle board that is exposed in the kitchen....I have already tripped on the staples and fallen face down into the dining room because I lost my balance when I tripped......My home without exageration looks like a crack house......I am so disgusted .... I have had nothing but the run a round....The sub contractor said for me to put in a claim with my insurance company which I closed after I found out that they would not match my kitchen cabinets with the 2 that would have to come out....I then went to the insurance company for the sub contractors and they told me I would be cover minus depreciation and would not match the cabinets........closed with them and went back to my insurance company....meanwhile Sears will only cover for depreciation - the same as the sub contractors insurance company.......the money my insurance company offers will not cover all the damage.....My stress level is through the roof and no one cares.....I tried to get a lawyer to represent me in all of this and no one wants to take the claim on......I am so disgusted.....I am supposed to pay "my deductible" with my own home owners and just take what I can get....how is this right.....I paid to have Sears install their dishwasher and I getting hosed....No one cares about the average hard working person anymore.....all I see is the attitude - take it or leave it......I have opened up a BBB case - gotten in touch with the Attorney General's Office, opened up a claim with N. Y. State Insurance Board......I want to go the mat with this now I am so angry and I cannot even get a lawyer to represent me without me putting up more money.....haven't I lost enough....What is this world coming to......It's make a person sick to think that we as a society have come down to money and power and that is the only thing that seems to mean anything...no one cares about the little person anymore....
