Dish Network Complaint

Why Dish Network May not really be the network you want - Service

- Georgia - Cleveland, Georgia (White County)
I ordered Dish Network and it was installed about 2 weeks later, which was about what I had expected and the system worked OK for about 30 days or so. Shortly after that I began to have problems with The caller ID and didn't think too much about it until I started having additional problems with the signal being lost for no reason. I called dish network to complain and they informed me they would send a rep. to take care of the problem which they did. The problem is that I was never informed that I would be charged $29.00 for keeping their equipment functioning. after calling to complain about the charge I was bascially told they would not adjust the charge.

For along time my elderly parents were ripped off by dish network. Dish made it almost inpossible to cancel the service. And when we finally stopped the auto debit from checking, they put them as a non pay customer. and had the nerve to bill them for services they did not use. You get no where with their corp escalations people. They take advantage of our seniors to make a buck. And maintan an " I DON'T CARE ATTITUDE ". IF I had not found out they owned the equipment, they were told they would have to pay 350.00 to have it removed. I would strongly advise anyone interested in going with Dish Network to really think twice. It takes for ever to get thru the automated system. And when you do the call drops.
