I've been an employee for extended for almost two years. I've worked my shifts as well as others when they can not come in. Before accepted this job, I was told they would work with the school schedule. Turns out I had to work around their schedule for school. I felt like being young I could not say or do anything otherwise I would loose my job. Guest would complain about sheets not clean and allergies that it has caused. I've called the manager and told them they tell me" why are you telling me this"
I am a manager that gets along with HR department and I guess they created the bonds between the two Everytime, I call about a problem for customers issues I would be harassed by my boss. When I am sick for one day I am told to go to a doctor and bring a note (ONE DAY, and I do not miss work as a matter of fact fill in for other people, do their jobs as well as overtime) Talk about overtime, this should be against the law, I WORK OVERTIME, INSTEAD OF PAYING ME OVERTIME, THEY WOULD GIVE ME A DAY OFF of the NEXT PERIOD. INSTEAD OF MANAGEMENT CHECKING IN TO THE COMPLAINT, I GET TOLD TO DO MY JOB and nothing is done about the situtation.
I have been complaining and get written up and they mistreat me and so I do not say anything anyore. I looked for new jobs and landed one on This week. Got hired on the spot. I still went to work at Extended stay because I felt that I need to make sure I was there and it was the right thing to do. When at work, my boss was being nasty again. this is the going thing. no one says anyting about this person. We've had people come and go within this company everyone is afraid to complain myself included. It was to the point I couldn't continue to be stress and harassed anymore and looked for other jobs. landed one this week, went to work, told my boss and got nasty made and told me I can never come back to work for extended stay again and can NEVER USE THEM AS A REFERENCE, EVER . I feel horrible. I got sent home. I hope no one gets treated the way I did, not only did I get used to do peoples jobs, but also basically got cheated of my OVERTIME PAYS.
