On May 13, 2011 I switched my Satellite TV provider to Dish Network as I have had nothing but problems with Direct TV. The cost was $30.00 less a month than what I was paying and that was one of the major deciding factors on switching to a different provider. I then cancelled my account with Direct TV as soon as the installation of DISH was complete. That was on Monday, May 16, 2011. Since that time I have received up to 10 calls a day from Direct TV begging me to come back. I kindly asked them to quit calling me and to put me on their no call list, but they still continued to call after I was assured that they would not call me. I am also on the Missouri NO CALL list, if that makes any difference in this case. I have not received a confirmation on my cancellation from Direct TV which they told me would complete the cancellation. I would like to report Direct TV for harassment. 10 calls a day from the same company is a bit excessive I have exhausted all ideas on how to stop them from calling me, and I believe it's time this was made public.
