The inspection by Castle Inspection Service caused my home owners insurance carrier to send a cancellation of my home owners policy until I met an electrical inspection ultimatum.
This company should be investigated for the inspector who inspected my home and his manager and company executives for trying to cover up the facts of this home inspection report
• There is evidence of cover up by Castle Inspection Service in the way they indicated the inspection report discrepancy was a ‘typo’, when the fact is the report included a paragrach on how knob and tube wiring still existing in my house and a licensed electrical contractor should be hired to have it analyzed and removed.
FACT IS: There has not been any knob and tube wiring in my house since 1993, and the inspector never went in the attic where he indicated the knob and tube wiring existed.
ALSO:
• The attic was not even visited by the inspector – how could a report be generated?
• An obvious dual panel alarm system with smoke detector was missed … how? And, I had to then write a letter to Travelers indicating I had a security system.
• An 8 foot high security property line fence both on the side and back of the house was not reported … how?

Judy called me this afternoon and informed me an assigned underwriter has been gathering information from Castle Inspection Service. She also indicated the Castle inspector who inspected our house indicated it was a “typo” error regarding the knob and tube electrical issue. I explained to her the report showed a sentence or two about the knob and tube so it ‘could not be typo’. Judy indicated she would forward my comments to the underwriter handling the case.
In the mean time I am forwarding Judy the name of the Northern California Regional Manager with her email comments on this matter, and a copy of the Castle Inspection Service report.
The inspection that happened to my house and the completed home inspection report was totally fabricated by this Castle Inspection Service inspector.
