I purchased CV axles for the left and right side of my autombile and they were installed by my personal mechanic.
The same day, the "clicking" noise came back. Pep Boys informed me I would have to have a suspension evaluation to determine if the axles were defective which I did. Pep Boys admitted the CV axles were bad and they would replace them for $261! I told the manager why should I have to pay my own mechanic $125 for installation and then pay you $261 when it was your products that were defective! I'm unemployed and took them to my mechanic to save money and if CV axles are put in wrong the car won't run so it's a matter of giving me 2 new axles, pay the core, let my mechanic put them in again which I will still have to pay money for Pep Boys defective products. WHAT OPTIONS DO I HAVE OR WHAT SHOULD I DO?
