On October 24 2010 my special best friend Angel was in our yard running up and down doing her usual thing that she loved to do barkjng. My husband was putting the trash out and noticed some one from nexy door on the second floor was throwing something down at her and she caught it and then he saw another piece come down and she caught it in mid air all of a sudden she started to go into a convulsion and droped to the ground he stepped down in our yard so he could see who was throwing things down to her there was a gentlemen standing on the porch next door, he asked the man what did he just through down to our dog the man said he did not throw anything down at her. My husband said I just saw someone throw something down at our dog she was motionlist we called the police, and she passed away right in front of them the police called the detectives and the S P C A my husband told them what he saw. the police went next store and went into their kitchen they said they saw some kind of meat on the kitchen counter near the meat was a bottle of some kind of cleaning fluid. they also collected a piece of meat from the roof of my deck which they took for evidence my beautiful angel was eight years old and went to her vet twice a year for check ups I notified my vet of what happened and he said he did not understand because she was in good health. At first the police and the humane society told my family they would get in touch with me after they did an autopsey on my dog I waited and waited and heard nothing. finally the vet at the S P C A called me she said they were still running tests on her, they said she had a small amount of cancer on her splean, but they were waiting to talk to the detective that was at the house but he was on funeral leave they told me they were waiting for the toxacology reports to come back I asked them if they would keeo in touch with me I loved my angel she was everything to my husband and myself we are senior citizens and she was that faithful pet that every one wishes they had. She was beautiful Every one loved her and to have her life end like that we can not accept it. Well to get back to my story. I kept calling to speak to the detective but he was still on leave. My vet faxed her reports to the spca they said they did not receive them my vet faxed them again then I received a phone call from their vet she told me that my dog did not have any cancer at all and I asked her about the toxology reports she said they were never sent out the tests are 85.00 to 100.00 each. she said they only ran two tests one for rat poison and one for anti freeze. She said they were still waiting to get in touch with the detective. I kept calling the detectives office to see if they could tell me when he was coming back. I finally spoke to him he said he had spoken to them and they told him Angel had cancer in every organ. I know testing is costly but how can they just dismiss something like this happening I have taken care of my pet going to paws to heaven she was at the spca for five weeks. She is finally on her way back to my husband and I. where we will keep her with us forever. I have called the humane society and asked for her records but I have had no response I hope you will post this for others to read Thank You
