Deacon Jones of Smithfield Complaint

The Catch - 2004 mitsubishi outlander

- Smithfield , North Carolina
One snowy Saturday I found an automobile to purchase at Deacon Jones of Smithfield. I had assistance with one of the sales persons who worked there. My credit is not good and after a few hours of being there trying to approve my credit the dealership was unsucessful. Finally I got financed and the manager said that they would be able to bring the car to my home in Youngsville because they wanted to get me a better deal with no money down. The auto dealer never showed up in the 2 day time that they said they would bring the car. I went to the dealer and new papers were drawn up by a new financer and I left after signing the agreement with the new automobile. Prior to leaving the battery on the car was dead and they dealer changed it. While going home in the rain I noticed that the windsheild wipers didn't work, the passenger side mirror would not rotate correctly, the thermostat control didn't work, the headlight was cracked, the paper said I had a keyless entry (which I mentioned before signing it and they said that they would send me one in the mail), I had no jack in the back of the car, and no owners manual. I called back and spoke with the manager who told me everything would be taken care of by the end of the week if I would come back into the dealership. When I came back she ordered an employee to bring me some windsheild wipers and told me that she would not be able to help me that day, but she would schedule me an appointment for a day to receive all of the repairs. I also told her at that time that the breaks or the rotars were screeching badly. She never called me back for a scheduled appointment. When I called back she no longer worked there and neither did the salesman who sold me the car. I called many times afterwards and no one would assist me properly. I finally got frustrated after about 2 weeks of trying to get help and took off of work and went back to the dealership to try to get results because the new manager hung up on me and refused to help me. When I arrived there he was angry ,he was surprised and refused to help me. He then called the police to have me leave the premises. I got a little assistance from the other part of the company when one of the employees offered to give me 200 dollars worth of services. He said that he couldn't do anymore to help me because it wasn't his sale. I still have problems with my car and the manager refuses to help me, My car is about 6 weeks old.
