on April 14,2010 I bought a used truck for my son. The next weekend I took it in to have the oil changed on the truck. Upon doing so it was noted by a technician that there was a bearing on the front driver side that appeared to be failing. The dealership couldn't repair the truck at this time. We had my son park the truck and it stood parked until the service could repair it. I got a phone call from the repair shop saying it was worse than expected and this vehicle wasn't safe to be driven nor should it have even been sold. I contacted Jared Hotard our salesman at Royal Honda and told him of the situation and even that on the way from the repair shop the first time the truck started vibrating and he nearly lost control of the vehicle on Hwy 23 during rush hour traffic. my child could have been killed. Jared states there is nothing they can do their mechanic has been there 20 years and basically its our loss. I understand that with a used vehicle you take a chance in buying it but when you place your trust in a dealership you would expect something better than an Oh well from your salesman. i set out to buy my son a vehicle for graduation gift not a death trap. any help will be appreciated.
