AT&T Complaint

"Customer Service" Only empty words...........

- 97th and Quivera
About 7 months ago I switched from verizon to AT&t so I could purchase an Iphone. I purchased the phone from the AT&T store at 97th and Quivera. One day later I returned to the store and purchased a phone for my wife.

We quickly noticed a problem with my wives phone......when she called anyone on their landline, the caller ID on the person's phone she called showed: "Susan Fleming". We returned to the store and they told us it would clear up in a couple of weeks.......it didn't. We returned again and was told it was not an AT&T problem but it was a Time Warner problem. Time Warner says "not our problem"...everything is correct at our end, "wait a while and it should clear up". It hasn't cleared up! We returned to the AT&T store again and spent about 30 minutes only to be told...."call everyone you have ever called with this phone and ask them to delete the name Susan Fleming from their caller I. D. Right......I'll jump right on that suggestion.

Juan was the sales person trying to help today and in the end all he could say was "I'm sorry, its out of my hands"

We still have a phone that will show anyone we try to contact that Susan Fleming is calling.......what a joke! What if my wife has an emergency and none of our friends will pick up because they don't recognize the name?

I can't risk not paying the bill as they will screw up my credit.....should I change my wives name to Susan Fleming?
