A Panasonic Plasma TV was purchased from Direct Buy in Anaheim Hills, CA. Upon delivery there were no visible signs of damage. A professional technician and owner of an AV company was to install the TV. When the technician and his helper went to install the TV, they did not notice any damage until they started to place the TV on the wall bracket. The picture portion of the TV had many fine fractures almost impossible to detect with the naked eye.
Direct Buy has thwarted all our attempts to have them accept ownership and responsibility for this dilemma.
As members of Direct Buy, in the process of remodeling a condo, we have purchased thousands of dollars worth of merchandise. This seems as nothing to them. It is shocking that faithful customers are so unimportant to Direct Buy. We have now gone elsewhere to purchase needed merchandise.
