Crestmont Cadillac Complaint

Crack Caddy

- 26000 Chargin Blvd . beachwood, ohio
I purchased a 2005 Cadillac CTS from Crestmont Cadillac in November 2007. In Febuary 0f 2009 I notice the front passenger side bumper was cracked and broken. I took the vehicle to a auto body shop, and was told by the tech, that this vehicle was involved in an accident, and the repair work was poorly done. That due to the below freezing temp we were having, during the month of January the bumper began to crack, also the bumper was not line up correctly with vehicle headlights. Crestmont Cadillac did not inform me of this problem. The body shop manager at Crestmont "FRANK", did confirmed the the vechicle was repaired once, but that I would have to pay for repair because they will not cover it. I then spoke to "DEAN" a manager, who states that when the weather get warmer, he would contact a person to repair the bumper, but he would charge me the cost of Crestmont would pay. I feel that Crestmont was aware of this problem and should have told me before I brought the vehicle, also I feel That they should pay for a new bumper, not repair it with the same cheap material they used to fix the damage. Slso when I told DEAN that I was going to contact the BBB and the local news media, he felt that I was threaten him. I also feel that this is one reason why the america auto industry is in so much trouble, because of the service and the lies they place tell after you purchase vehicle from them.
