Hello I purchased a new 2008 Nissan Versa on Feb. 11 and since then my car has been stalling and I'm having to crank it several times just to get it started. I informed the Nissan dealership of this and they said they were aware of the problem and that the Nissan Versas need a new fuel pump kit. When transferred to the service department I spoke to the service guy there and he said they were not sure when the parts would be in. I asked would it be a week, month, several months and his response was "I don't know." I have called him several times because my car is stalling more and more and I keep getting the same response. The part it needs is a fuel pump kit, apparently the fuel pump they originally installed is not working properly. I am not at all happy with the fact that I have to crank my car up 5 and 6 times just to get it started seeing that it is a new car, barely 5 months old. Not only am I using more gas but can be putting my car through irreversible damage, and at the price of gas I can't afford either one. This service guy was indifferent, short and crude. I am paying top dollar for my car and I expect top service at the minimum someone to be courteous and not indifferent like they couldn't care less.
