Just wanted to let you know that I received a letter from a company in Tallahassee FL dated Jan 19, 2011 stating that my coproation needs to pay $125.00 by Feb 16, 2011 to adhere to Florida Business Corporations Act Chapter 607.1601 (1) for meeting and minutes of its shareholders.
It has my corporation #, and incorporation date (which I know is public revord).
The envleope says "This is not a govenment agency" and the letter states "This product has not been approved or endorsed by any govenment agency and this offer is not being made by an agency of the government".
If you do not read this closely, or contact your accountant or the division of corporations you would not know this is a scam.
Someone needs to look into this, as someone in Tallahassee is collecting $125.00 for something that is not required.
