The 4500 commercial truck was bought new to use in a business. It was signed for 11/07. Frome the beginning it has had aoll sorts of problems. It has been in the shop almost as much as out. (several times it was in the shop for a month at a time.). Money is lost because I can't work for my business without it. The truck only has 23,000 miles (and we own it a little over 2 years). It was in the shop for about a month, got it back and 4 days later it would not go again (the same problem they just fixed). but being 4 days out of warranty, we had to pay over $200 to tow. They took the drive shaft off to tow it, and the dealer put it back on after "repairing" it. A few days later, the drive shaft came off. The dealer said it was not their responsiblitly and we had to pay for that. Meanwhile, we have to rent equipment to run the business, and continue to have to pay over $400 a month for a useless truck that is 2 yrs old and low mileage. Meanwhile, our warranty says"Limited warranty of GM Corp for 36,000 miles or 36 months whichever comes first. Neither of them are here yet and they tell us it is out of warranty. It does not work again, we are losing money, and HOPEFULLY someone can do something to make GM responsible for this LEMON. No wonder people don't buy American. Just give us a truck, the same kind that works so we can use it and make a living.
