DishNet Complaint

Attempted to sign up with Dish Network when I was advised that I owe them $142.00, not to mention from 2006, that my account was "in collections" I advised them that I do not owe and I have never received any notices or collections from them for anything, neither do I have any collection reports on my credit reports. After doing some research, I was told by several people who wanted to come back to Dish, but were told that they also had an outstanding balance.
Please, as a former Dish customer or customers who are canceling their service, be aware and make sure you have it in writing that their account is ZERO.
