Thousand Trails Complaint

collecing dues all of my life?????? - camping

I think I am a victim. In 2001(according to my document) I signed a contract with Thousand Trails for a camping spot agreement, with my husband who has since, deceased. We paid the total finance co for the account of over $5000.00. I had to take a loan on my credit card to pay it in full. I in turn sent them a check after paying them for approximately 16months.(in pymts) Since that was paid off we paid yearly dues until 2004. We never used the camp sites
after 2004. Thousand Trails has contacted me for yearly dues ever since. I have a contract that states they can collect for 3 years minimum. Am I still liable to pay for this while I haven't even used it???? The 3 years was up a long time ago. Do I HAVE TO PAY FOR THIS THE REST OF MY
LIFE?? I have paid for dues even though I wasn't using it.
I am on social security now since my husband died and I really don't think this is quite fair.
Now I am getting a notice from a collecion agency that states I owe over $2000.00. I guess that I will be going to court. Can anybody help me???Thank you for your time in this matter.
