My son's social security disability check was direct deposited into his checking account on October 1, 2010.
The funds were pending on this date. On Saturday when I went to use the funds, a Chase bank representative said they closed the account because his account had 3 consecutive zero balances. I am his mother and representative payee for his account. His account has never been in the negative but did have zero balances. I was never told this when I opened the account. I have been going round and round with various bank personel and can't seem to get the problem solved. I really need to get the funds to enroll my son in school. Can someone please help me. It is very sad that my son and I are treated this way by this banking institution. I work and live pay check to pay check. I have been told for the last 2 days that the funds will be available. Well the funds are not available, so you guys were my last resort.
Thank you,
Angela
