I was shopping for a vehicle for my father and I was quoted a price for a Jeep. When I asked if there was an additional discount for retired military vets. I received no response. The day of signing I was told by the finance officer "YES" it was $500 and it was already included in the quote. When I originally received the quote I had not told them about my fathers military service. So then they refused to honor my original quoted price. To make allowance for his discount they just added the discount into the quoted price. Most people get confused by the addition of fee and document charges. They are slick.
I showed all the documentaton and emails leading up to the purchase. I asked them to please not cheat my father out of his military discount. I have not received a response. They tried to bury it in the base price. Buyers beware. They are dishonest.
