After being approved by CEDA in June 2009 for a new ROOF (have holes in ceiling and floor, also mold in wall) and hot water tank (which caught on fire in Dec 2010), Ceda came, a year and a half later, and removed working furnace. Installed a "new/improved" high efficency furnace thru Parliament Builders in October 2010. Leaving roof and hot water tank untouched. Furnace worked for 1 week .....called Parliament, who said they would return with parts. 2 weeks later, I had to call again .....rude customer service agent told me they be there in a day or so. NEVER SHOWED> Called again, again was rudely treated and told they would send out service worker. They came, fixed the problem, and left. 2 weeks later furnace again not working. Once again called, verbally abused by customer service and they stated they would come out. NEVER SHOWED. Called again .....sent a "mobile home specialist " out, who stated it was the roof venting that did not work. We are now in January 2011. Next day furnace does not work. Called Jan 14 - told to change my furnace filter and that they were gonna charge 25.00 to come out. NEVER SHOWED .....NO HEAT. Had a independent HVAC person come out on the 24th and inspect furnace. Told flew intake and outlet was not installed or sealed properly. And that venting on roof was also improperly done and these thing have caused the combustion blower limit switch to go bad. Called Parliament today, Jan 25th and told them. They stated that because a 3rd party LOOKED at the furnace my warranty is now voided !!! I asked to speak to supervisor. Was told not available and complain to CEDA. Which I have tried to do numerous times, with no return phone call. I told woman that I reported them to BBB and will contact Attorney General's Office and News Stations. She tisked at me and said a field supervisor will come out on the 26 th. I am on disability ....have very limited income, no transportation and a space heater for warmth !!!!!!!! Please help me !!!! And for anyone reading this NEVER use Parliament Builders or trust CEDA for help !
