We purchased our cruise tickets April of last year, with Carnval Cruise lines ,and paid in full.We were so excited all year ,finally a vacation we despratly needed.We spent more money then you could imagine on just getting ready for this cruise.Scuba classes, gear,plane tickets, hotels,food, you name it. Then spent another 1800 for the cruise itself.Needless to say it was not even worth it.Leaving out of Miami Fl, on the 15th of January one of the first to get on, one of the last to get luggage. This was a 7 day cruise we cruised all but one.First docking was to be in Costa Maya,Mexico the weather was so bad we couldent dock,ok i can deal with it.They were nice enough to give us back our port charges of $25.00 on ship credit only. So Monday was all day at sea.you could gambel,drink,or play bingo,which all cost money.Second stop Grand Caymen this is thursday now.Get up ready to get off boat,you guessed it couldent dock there either {weather}.So then the ships activity director come over the load speaker and tells us to go to the ships gift shop and buy a deck of cards,or grab a book from the library,youve got to be kidding me.Been on the water all this time.Went to the karioke bar, the guy that was running the show was the rudest person on the ship,and he let everybody know it was supposed to be his day off so he dident care if we had a good time or not and dident even try to hide it.The food was a whole other story well below fine dinning. If you ate in the formal dinning room one night and then ate the buffet the next you got leftovers no im not kidding. Then finally we docked in Ocho Rios Jamaica.We had a whole 7 hours to get off the boat do what we wanted and then back to Miami.Saturday last day at sea {thank god},a little stressed from the past week at sea i decided to go to the salon and get a massage, once again they try to sell you somthing outragious ,after a 100.00 massage they want me to buy a 75.00 bottle of lotion.I have tryed a number of time to get a result.All i have recived was sorry to hear about your bad experiance.I think sombody needs to do somthing. The fulse advertising alone should be worth somthing.I can totally understand bad weather but not to be prepared for it is another story. These are people who rip off hard working people just cause they can.......
