Carnival Cruise Lines Complaint

Carnival Cruise Lines_Don't waste your money on a balcony - Balcony Staterooms on Spirit Fun Ship

We Went on Carnival Cruise ship (Spirit Fun Ship) for a 5 days Mexico Cruise for our 5th anniversary. Paid full price ($1,242) for a non-obstructive balcony and was upgraded to 8K. When we got keys to our room, we had gone on balcony and saw a whole row of life boats beneath us. You could see the ocean when you look straight ahead, but when you look down all you saw were life boats, no ocean. To me, this is an obstructive view. We had gone to guest relations to question our room and they advised us that this was not an obstruction and there was nothing they could do and if we wanted to pursue we needed to contact our sales person at Carnival Cruise who originally booked our room. While in room day/night all we heard was chairs moving constintley. We were on floor 7 and the buffet was on floor 9. We were assured by the sales person if we stayed on floor 7 we would not hear any noises since room was 2 floors below main floor. While trying to sleep on the bed, the bed vibrated like there was an motor below the bed. During the last 3 days of our cruise the ship creeked all night. Between the moving of chairs and ship creeking and the vibrating of the bed, we were unable to sleep. The food was the worst we ever had. Your choice was the buffet or the main dining, which same food was served so all we ate was salads for 5 days. When we called sales person he could do nothing and told us to call guest relations. We did, and again they refused to do anything. We've gone on other cruises and not once have we had such a bad experience. I guess our problem was cruising with Carnival. All Carnival cares about is "how much money they make off a customer" they don't care about customers and the experience they had. Carnival falsey advertises their balconies. This was a special vacation to us and I felt like we got ripped off and paid for a room that was an obstructive room. People need to know how Carnival Cruise Lines treat customers and how they falsey advertise their balconies.
