I just want to help someone who may be as vulnerable as I was and protect them from losing their monies,especially if this is there first time dealing with this club. I rented the Scandinavian Club in good faith, depositing (a non-refundable deposit)for usage of their facility. They will never be available to answer their phones nor return your phone calls unless you are requesting rental of their property. They are inaccessible to your consultants. If you have a lot of time to call on a daily basis, you will by chance contact someone within four to six weeks who will make promises and not keep them; they do not know who owns the club, nor do they know contact phone numbers of the person in charge to allow you to get clarity on the club's policies or access to the building to plan for decorations when you have concerns. If you cancel because of having to wait almost one month to receive a phone number from an individual who promises to call you back on the same day about your issue and three weeks go by and you hear nothing and are forced to cancel due to the lack of their response to accommodate your request, you will lose your money, if you e-mail them they will not answer your e-mail, nor will they answer your attorney; as a matter of fact they won't even call you to attempt to correct the problem. Be very careful and read the contract because it is fabricated (Leaves the club the right to keep your money) because it does not say that the club phone is never going to be answered and that the person involved does not have to return your calls. All you do is pay the required amount of money for the rental, if you can't get to talk to someone about finalizing the contract you still are liable to rent the premises on the assumption that someone will be there when your event takes place if you are desperate enough to have usage and wait too long, you probably will not have your event. The club will expect you to honor the contract without any obligation or commitment in writing from them as to how you can be accommodated by them please read the contract before giving them your money and make sure that everthing you discuss is in writing as they will deny whatever they say to you verbally and you will lose your money.
