Byron Smith, Attorney Complaint

Worker Compensation lawyer sells out - Worker Compensation lawyer

- 1150 Post Street , Suite 288, San Francisco, CA 94109
Upon being hurt on the job, I contacted a Worker Compensation lawyer. During the course of my disability, my job sent a letter to State Disability stating that they would start paying me a sum of money every week. However, this never happen. Which caused the State Disability dept. to stop paying me because my job said that they were paying me. At my settlement hearing my lawyer told me that I would receive my back pay that the company had neglected to pay me for my temporary disability.

My lawyer said that the check for that had went out to the wrong address. Then he said that I would have to wait until the check was returned. The he said that the company needed my correct address. Then he said that the check was in the mail. That was over a year ago. I just talked to my lawyer a week ago, and he asked my to refresh his memory about the case. I believe that the lawyer told me these stories in order to get me to accept the company's offer. I believe that the lawyer referred to above, has sold me out. And I do not believe that he is entitled to his lawyer fees. And should make good on his word, stating that the company would finish paying me the temporary disability payments due me.

I have been witness to the above statements made by this lawyer. I am unable to talk with my old job because I hired a lawyer and they must talk to my attorney. Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. And would serve to stop this from happening to other. Thank you in advance for conciteration.

Welcome to the club. I've hardly heard anybody
who has ever had a lawyer ever say anything much different than what you're saying including myself. I haven't had this one, but it seems
that most of them are liars and unethical. It doesn't seem they are being regulated properly to be behaving like this.
