I am a 79yr old widow. Three years ago I had Jimmy's Interior & Exterior Improvements build a house for me in Mountian Pine, Arkansas. The contract states that if anything goes wrong the first year after construction the company will fix it. I called before the first year was up and told them that the ceiling was separating from the walls. He has put me off for one reason or another, making promises he never keeps. Now he won't even return my phone calls. The house is falling apart. The tile floors are cracking, the hardwood floors are separating, the floors are sinking in the hallway - separating from the walls, the ceilings are cracking, the doors are hard to open, etc. It is obvious that the foundation was a ship-shod job. I am at my wits end and hope you will help me expose this company and, hopefully, get results. He did get someone out once to look at it, the cost was $8,000 to repair the damages, but I had to sign the contract along with the contractor before the work could begin. I refused to sign the contract for obvious reasons. Whatever you can do will be greatly appreciated.
