International Consumer Promotional Drawing Complaint

I received a letter on June 28, 2011 stating that I had won a sweepstakes drawing held on May 4, 2011. I qualified to Win Five Hundred Thousand Dollars (500,000.00 US). I was told to contact Chris Young at 1-778-859-5987. They enclosed a check of 4,993.67 to cover insurance and administration fees.

When my husband looked them up on the Internet he was astonished to find out it is a wide spread SCAM.
