I am writing you to warn people about a ongoing scam that is happening all over the country.Back in October of 2006 I came across an ad for Blue Hippo Funding. They help people finance desk top and lap top computers. When calling them I was told I was to pay a down payment of 99.00 and pay weekly payments of 35.00. After making 6 payment my desk top,printer and flat screen tv would be sent out to me. Well, that never happened. After making 4 months of payment to this company I realized I have not received my things. So I called the company and was told they needed to send out some forms for me to sign and send back. So about 2 weeks later I received the forms. Signed and sent them back. Two months go by still no computer.So I called them once again to hear sorry we need to send out one more set of forms for you to sign.
I waited and waited for about 3 weeks still no forms from them . So I called to hear we are sorry about that let me send them out to you again. Once again nothing.I made a call twice a week since march and was told they would fax,email and ,mail out the forms.I NEVER received anything. With all this going on they still took money out of my account. So I decided to cancel my account with them When calling them about cancelling they said I would be charged 179.00 cancellation fee.I told him I felt this was unfair since they are not doing their job. They said there was nothing they can do about it. So I just told them to give me my refund.So on June 5th I canceled.I was told my refund would take 7 to 10 days to process then 4 to 6 weeks to be put in my account. Well that never happened. I still have not received my refund.And ever time I call they tell me they will let the main office know and I should wait 7 to 10 more days. I am so tired of dealing with these people. I have been doing some research of my own to find out there are hundreds of people that are not getting their products or there money back.
Something needs to be done about this company. They need to be stopped. The nerve they have scamming a military family that sacrifices there life and time to keep them free from harm. And this is what we get in return. NOTHING!! I hope someone can help us and all the other people out there that are getting ripped off from this company. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
