I like many people saw the Blue Hippo commercial on TV and called to order a labtop that comes with a free lcd monitor and printer on October 2,07. Well my family lost our home on October 12,2007 due to forclosure. I called Blue hippo to cancel the oder on Oct.31,07. Instesd of cancelling my order my account was still debted in October, November, and December. I Never received any paper work or any computer.After being charged bank charges with my bank I found out that Blue Hippo had taken a total of $559.90. I immediately called Blue Hippo to find out what was going on.
The customer service agents wouldn't transfer me to a any supervisors. I finanally spoke to an account specialist on Feb.27,08. He told me thatI had 2 options: store credit or cancellation. I wrote a letter to the legal department in Baltimore MD on Febuary 28,08. Then after not hearing from them I called in Last Wedneday and Thursday. I spoke with two account spaecailist this week. They both have pretty much told me that as of right now I can only get a store credit. I just don't think this is right for a company to do to a person.

I had the same problem. I had called to see about getting a computer. I was talked into this so called amazing offer, than decided just a few days later that I didn't think that it was so amazing. I called to cancel this order and was told that it would be taken care of before the first payment was taken out. Well to my surprise, the payment was taken out. I talk to someone there and requested to speak to a supervisor, and was told that they didn't take calls. They also told me that it would take 45 days to be refunded the money. I received a letter just a few days ago notifying me that I have received store credit. There is a lot more to this story, but it is just useless. I wish that people really knew what this company was all about.

My sister-in-law went through this exact same thing...the end of 2006 she sent monthly payments to get this brand new computer...they told her after they got the first payment, they would send the pc. it has been two years, many phone calls, got nowhere..and still NO COMPUTER!! not even an in-store credit, not even a letter!!
