Binder And Binder Complaint

How Are We Suppose To Work Under Conditions Like These

- New York
I work for the above law firm and the conditions here are deplorable. Let me begin by telling where we are located. We are behind a major grocery store loading dock, where we have to be exact careful while entering. The area is very dusty and the pavement needs to be repaired so badly that a co-worker felt and she has been out of work for about a month or so going through physical therapy.

This is suppose to be an office but is more like a warehouse and management answer to everything is if you don't like it here no one is holding you here, but some of us can't afford to quit. The roof has leaked so much that it has since caved in on one side of the building. The carpet is molded, smelly and filthy and hasn't been cleaned in over 6 months. There are bugs embedded in the carpet and a number of employees have been bite and several had to go to the hospital. Just to bring to your attention they use to hire most of their employees from the welfare to work program but they have since lost their contract. Their turn over was to high with keeping these people employed. There are no windows and the ventilation is poor. The air condition never works and it is a sweat shop. There are over 100 employees and the office get vacuumed maybe once to twice a month, but management office has been re-carpeted, air condition, roomy and well decorated. This is one of the largest law firm and these are the some of the bad condition that we have to work under.

Working there is like going through a maze but you better keep your eyes open or you will get hurt because it is some over crowed. We are so close together working that we can hear each other thoughts. In the real world we are doing leagl assisitant work but since we don't have degrees our titles are clerks/office assistants. Actually let me correct something we can't use the turn law firm in our title anymore we are Disability Advocates because they are so hungry for money that there are not enough attorneys that they are now using non-rep attorneys to appear in court for clients which the clients don't even know. They have postponed hearings which some clients has waited for over 1-2 years to get a date because they didn't have anyone to show up for the hearing. My mother always told me all you need is a scam and you can catch anyone in your net. Will the Binders have come up with one major scam.

The health department has been there but I don't know the outcome. Some one called them. I don't think they get to see the whole office like the molded carpet, the heating and ventilation system, the flood which there has been many, or the steps, I believe they should have tooken a sample of the carpet and had it tested lord knows what they would have found. I think they need to be put under ivestigation regarding there practice, and I bet you the company will be shut down. The public needs to know that this is no longer a law firm and attorneys are not the one that is showing up in court to rep them, which they are paying around $5300. WE are @ work for 8 hrs and 45 minutes and they only give us 45 minute lunch with out pay but if you want to take a break you getr a 35 minute lunch with a 10 minute break each without pay. I went under the Department of Labor to check is it legal to do this and I found out that it isn't.

If you work @ least 8 hrs the law states that you are to have @ least a 35 minute lunch which the employer don't have to pay but they are to pay for your 10 minute break. Like I said we are there for 8 hrs and 45 minutes. So we should be entitled to @ least 45 minute lunch and a 10minute break. People are always getting sick including my self. Please help us by posting this story on all the major news sites to make the public aware and then maybe we will can get some results from the Binders.

Why would anyone post something where it appears an eight grader wrote, much less why would anyone work for Ambulance chasers. It is apparent that this supposed employee just wishes to complain. While personally I would not use Binder and Binder as obviously they got their degrees outside the US or from a law school that admits unqualified students. Please this posting is only to show that you pay for what you get, and obviously Binder and Binder hired a looser. By the way why not put the address, contact OSHA or the EEOC. This posting sounds bogus to me. But again this does not mean I would use Binder and Binder, rather I would use a reputable attorney !

Pleeeease, commenter keheleyw. What is a "looser"? Are you a ninth grader?

    Posted by samanthahelps on 03/20/2008
I am beginning to have my doubts about this company. We live in Philly and found out that our file was transferred to the Bronx NY office without our knowledge. The communication an call back are almost non exitant.

We are having second thoughts about Binder and Binder as well. Called 4 days in a row, no return call. I'm still waiting for "Mr. Binder" to call me. They told me doesn't come in until 3:30 p.m. I suspect he's on the golf course or at the theater. Maybe he's riding his horse. Our "representative" is also in Bronx, NY. We live in Nevada.

Don't hold your breath waiting for a call from "Mr Binder". From what I was recently told they both have their offices in NY. The people in the Bronx handling cases are not attorneys they are "case managers" whatever that means. I would like to know what legal training they have in order to be qualified to handle cases of this nature. Now looking for another lawyer!

    Posted by gotmule on 04/22/2008
I too, had my case botched by Binder and Binder. These are BAD Lawyers. If you are researching them for a Social Security Attorney, look somewhere else. All these folks had to do to win my vase was to make a single phone call to my Doctor for a narrative while my case was up for final review with Social Security, and they completely dropped the ball. Costing me the ability to get mt arrears paid in full to the date of onset of my injury. A lot of money. The result, now I can barely live. A case so easily won so totally botched by a lawyer Mill.....Look elsewhere if you want a decent attorney.

Commenter keheleyw am not sure your camouflage is working or has worked... it is a liitle bit more obvious that you are either a part of this Binder and Binder company or that you have some sort of relationship with them. If you are happy with the salary that you are being payed, what about the people who are underpaid. Regarding the individual with the compalaint if you feel that he/she is writing like a ninth grader that goes to show you the calibre of employees they hire and little wonder they overwork them and subdue them to such hideous conditions.

Every company should strive to be ethical. And as we see by this complaint none of that has happened for this company. And it appears that the employer has little or no regard for their employees, leaving them with disgruntled employers (who have no choice but to stay because any money is better than nothing at all)and high turnovers.

Where is OSHA they need to look into this and review Binder and Binder's hiring practices and organizations governance policy. I am sure they have many loop holes.

First of all, while it may be one of my favorite sports, picking apart someone's grammar in a message board equates to mudslinging. As a former Binder employee myself, I can relate with what ssoupc is saying.

The Binder brothers themselves have a fantastic education between them. One went to Georgetown, the other Cornell. And, they did build one of the most successful, nationwide revenue producing "firms" from the ground up.

However, it is 100% apparent that the Binders do not care about their employees. The Long Island office I worked at, the "appeals" office, had as high a turnover rate as bona fide scams such as Kirby Vacuum cleaners. This is in part due to the fact that they hire nearly whoever applies, they pay as much as a college work study program, and their "benefit" package takes nearly 20% of the bi-weekly paycheck. There is no way to save money, so one is forced to work there perpetually simply to scrape by.

Moreover, for the most part the management at the LI office barely has a GED between them. Employees are not treated as adults, they are treated like kindergarteners. As such, because they are treated like children it is very easy for the employees to act like children. Panoptocism, such as installing thousands of dolalrs of security cameras and HDTVs for employee "monitoring" runs rampant, and all the phones are tapped. Pleasant place to work?

Finally, and that's simply for brevity, the legal staff is underqualified and as long as you pass a joke of a test you can represent a client in their disability claim. I am not sure this is expressed to the clients...but that's ok, because there are a lot of clients that are taken on simply on the off chance that they might win and somehow profit the Binder brothers.

Kudos to the Binders. They are running their business the way they want, for their bottom line. It would be sufficiently anti-American to actually show compassion towards others, especially those that wish to elevate themselves. I would reccomend this job for any recent college graduate or aspiring attorney to illustrate how NOT to run a business, how twisted and greedy people can be, and the dark side of the law.

It was a great learning experience. Fortunately for me, I've learned that there are many, many better things out there.

Please commence the spell-check criticism of my work and be sure to tear me to shreds.

Tried in 2007 tt get an appointment for a disability application. Went to the address they gave me (a warehouse office) and they had no record of me being scheduled. Just last week (Aug 08) applied via their website and no answer. They claim a 2 day wait. So I called and got the run around and finally told them to forget it. These are clowns who farm out applications everywhere and one is better off using an attorney locally that specializes in ss disability benefits. Not a first class operation whatsoever. Not worth your time.

I also have had my share of problems with Binder and Binder. Not calling me back is just a part of it. They sent in my draft paperwork before going over it with me after being assured by Mr. Cxxxxxxx that they would call me back to review. They also lost a set of paperwork including my birth certificate that was to be mailed to disability and said it is because their mailroom is backed up. I left messages for 3 weeks before I finally reached my case worker then she was rude. I was transferred to Bronx office also.

You have to understand such employers are the root cause for our immigration problem. Like the "war on drugs" the problem is not about the supply, but rather the demand. They hire people who might not have all their green card papers in order, because they know they can not complain.

    Posted by pauly007usa on 09/20/2008
Strange that a Law firm would hire someone who appears to have not even finished High School after reading the complaint, it’s wording and grammar ? I blotched my SSI Claim up by trying to do it myself and went to Binder

    Posted by ursurich on 12/15/2008
It's best to get all of your medical documentation yourselves, and let them do the leg work from that point.

As for the working conditions in the Bronx office, i am not surprised. A lot of us have worked in such conditions. But, i have to say, they get about $5300.00 per case, if they win. That's not bad, when in most cases, the social security client gets paid for the rest of their lives.
May i recommend, that employees working at Binder and binder, seek employment at The Department of Labor (disability), EEOC. In the mean time, learn the trade while you are there.

I also worked at the binder and binder in tampa.I was fired because i spoke my mind.Melissa Miller with the broke face is nasty as they come as well as Jackie Navartte. There where times when you were disrespected and given orders as if you where a child. Harry and Charles Binder and the biggest losers I've every came in contact with. There cheap and treat there employees like shit. They contiune to get rich at others peoples expense. MELISSA MILLER has been a do girl for the Binders from day one.Including the sucking there dicks thats how she became regional manager. They treat there black employees as if we are still in the 1940 and still called Niggers. The Tampa office is ran by dumb ass managers. They have the skills of little children and the people skills of new born babys. And Melissa Miller favorite word is shut up, but truth be told she needs to shut up her self and take the advise of Tampa best plastic surgeon and get the cracked face corrected. And this last line is for Charles Binder himself Bitch take that fuckin hat OFF....

As an employee of this company, I can vouch for the complaint above. The conditions you are forced to work in are unacceptable.
First I would like to set a few things that I have read here, in order.
The majority of the employees are not college graduates with high degrees but we are not illegal immigrants. We are American citizens who continue to work at Binder

I'm employee at the Tampa Office and the Management sucks the Regional Manager is a ugly and nasty person. The duty Manager is a suck up who knows better but is afraid to speak up for what is right. All the supervisors are silly stupid women who think they have all the sense and the reason why i'm still there is because I have major responsibilities and I can't quit until something else comes along. But in the mean time I will keep my cool. But the day I find another job the police will escort me out of the building.

You guys are missing the big picture. And I'm not talking to the dirtbags who file for SSI.(You guys are the scum of the Earth and the reason why other countries hate us and you deserve to rot with satan for eternity, especially when you exploit your children and claim disability for someone who can't play with his legos correctly. Back to the point, this company brings this country down in the tubes, they help crooked people with crooked Dr's. get onto a crooked benefit and draw money from a system they did not pay in. The company itself blows and I work there. I feel horrible everyday and actually can

I would have just let it go, but now I think its funny. Their logo has the United States stars and stripes but yet I got fired for speaking my mind on a third-party message board, from a computer at my house not during work hours. I was the most efficient employee in my department and never had my personal views reflect my work performance. They called me into the office yesterday and told me I was fired for what I wrote on this very website, If I were a scumbag I'd file a wrongful termination lawsuit but I don't believe in that. What happened to the first amendment of the United States constitution? They shouldn't be flying the US colors if they are assisting in ruining this country by helping the people they help. On my way home from being "fired" I saw a man on a park bench with a 40 oz. bottle of beer and looked out of his mind, I smiled to myself and thought to myself he'll be calling Binder and Binder(Toll-Free) and use his "Dr." to support his claim. This company is a joke and I actually slept last night for the first time in 4 months.

    Posted by RecentlyFired on 03/26/2009
And I know now that you guys actually care enough to check this website. For the record, the people who wrote the above comments about people shouldn't have done that. The people that work there are actually very decent people, the woman who fired me is a very nice woman and was just doing her job and all my supervisors are great, they aren't the ones who are wrong here. It's the brothers who run the company and wear those stupid cowboy has and mascara. The general concept of this company is great, but they should have standards on who they help. A working man who paid his taxes and is having trouble fighting the government should have someone to turn too. BUT the drug addict who doesn't work and never has who says they are "bi-polar" and keeps popping out children and treats with a Dr. once every 3 years doesn't deserve to be helped. My point is, the people that told me I was fired aren't bad people, it's the person who made the decision to fire me and the one who actually checks this website who's wrong so if you are reading this, go fuck yourself and than claim disability, call 1866BINDER for help. Come to think of it I may call my local congressmen to find out exactly what happens when an employer violates someone's constitutional rights. Mazal Tov cowboy, you'll be hearing from a real lawyer, not an advocate, which is another word for clown lawyer or hack if you will.

I was fired from the Tampa office 3/27/2009 for something that was very stupid I'm not going to point any fingers. Just to let you know that I'm relieved that I was released from the hell hole. It's was a very negative enviroment I was always worried about when I was going to fired because my supervisor was sneaky and she lied alot to keep herself out of trouble I can admit I had some probelms with other people there but the situations would always start by my supervisor putting a bug in the other persons ear. I'm just relieved it's over although the job market is bad right now I will find another job.I thank god even for the bad things and I will continue to pray for the people who work their and the disturbed management team.

I can relate to the person who just recently got fired from the tampa office.. I know who is your supervisor as well. This supervisor is the only one there that is sneaky, lier and likes to put bugs on other employees about each other. Her name is Jacky.
Even thou I was not in her department but can she be damn nosey getting in your business and the problems she can cause someone working there.
I can't believe how many people left there or has been fired becuase of her and she is still working there as a supervisor. She does not have the skills to be a supervisor at all. Treating her staff like little kids and I have seen it myself.
When are the Binder brothers and the office manager going to see that she is really the one causing the problems there and the only reason the employee goes to the management is because they don't want to loose their job.

this complaint is so on point that its not even funny. we all need to start a blog that expresses complaints against this company, not only for the employee but the unlawful practices that go on at this company every day. the work environment is horrible. what job tell its employees not to speak..lmao its hilarious. my supervisor did not even have a college education. i never met some one more retarded in my life. becuase of her insecurities she took it out on all other educated employees who spoke up.. this company needs to seriously be investigated.

I too have had my 2nd SS denial because of Binder. They sent my file to NY, lost it for 4 months, didn't collect records (1st denial), refused me access to my file or anything they were doing, I scheduled 2nd hearing and provided all records AND A SUMMARY and they did not submit or prepare for the second hearing (2nd denial). Third refusal today to access my file and staff is beligerent and completely unqualified! The judge yelled at the girl they sent to represent me because she had done nothing to prepare and didn't even know the correct legal terminology to present my case. It was a disaster of mass proportions!!! Need new attorney in Dallas desparately. If you are interested in filing a class action lawsuit, please contact me.

If you have hired Binder and Binder and want to end the arrangement you can do this at no cost to you.Be sure to ask for a copy of your file including medical records, there will be a charge. I work there and if you need any questions answered outside this forum please contact me at jf264@yahoo.com

Dismissing Binder and Binder is as easy as writting a letter. Start with a phone call to the customer service rep that is handling your case. Let this person know that you no longer want Binder to represent you. You will need to follow up with a letter to them also telling them that you no longer want to be represented by the company.
There will be no charge to you for any of the time that has been put in on your case. I highly reccomend that you ask for a copy of your file including all medical records. you will be charged a mailing fee and most likely a copy fee.

I am at the point of my life where it is necessary to file for disability.

To those (czitaglio) who think people who file for disability are the worst imaginable things on earth - I would be careful of my criticism if I were you. Karma may intervene and one day you may be one of the unfortunate who has to apply and withstand the barrage of criticism, dirty looks, bad treatment, etc. from people just like you. I was a RN for almost 20 years and worked harder than most people living in the U.S. I have always worked hard - my first babysitting job at the age of 10. No I do not deserve criticism for being sick but instead a little compassion and respect.

To those w/ the vulgar language - you make this site not credible. People do not take you seriously when you act like trash. They figure it must be your fault. You have a right to be angry but also a responsibility to communicate in a respectful way to others.

To those criticized for not being American citizens - keep working hard and do not listen to others. The Declaration of Independence describes what ALL people want and have a right to - not just American citizens. And that is why people come here every year and work hard so that one day maybe - if not them - but maybe their children will realize the dream. I have known many many people who immigrated here decades ago. They worked incredibly hard for many years but it has paid off. Some of these people are very wealthy and indeed their children realize the benefit of the hard work and sacrifices their parents/grandparents made.
So you see you may work in deplorable conditions now but keep focused on your work knowing it will pay off one day. In the meantime look for better opportunities whenever you can but do not openly criticize your employer. If necessary take the correct action such as formal complaints to OSHA, etc but do not do it on this site. You can criticize once no longer employed by them. ANY employer will terminate a worker who openly criticizes.
And the one who criticizes you for not being well educated, not a citizen, etc. just remember years from now when you have made it and your family is provided for - he will have grown a large beer belly sitting in his lazyboy drinking Buds and badmouthing you and his family will be just like him. Arrogant Loser who blames everyone else for his failures.

And by the way, I accidently came across this site looking for Binder

Just a little Advise for the former "Employees" from Binder and Binder. Just by you making these Outrageous comments at a place you once worked on a blog site doesnt really make you look that good. Binder and Binder may have hired some of their employees from a "welfare" program as you may say, but some of those people are the most hard working, dedicated people they have. They were given an ability to Jump start their careers by learning a valuable trade..the most compassionate people sometimes come from the bottom where they cam empathise on people who are less unfortunate.. There happens to be a HANDFUL of Binder and Binder who do care about there job, and do care about there clients,i have seen first hand, some supervisors coming in at 6 am just to make sure her clients get taken care of.these are some of the people who go the extra mile to make sure Binder wins cases. Like life, every job has its Positives and negatives..NOONE said that Disability Law is glamourous..and if your not in it to essentially Help others, you should just get another job and make room for those who really do care.It is pretty obvious that your Character is questionable concidering all the things you said. as far the cameras are concerned, if you do what you have to do and act civilised, who cares? cameras are appropriate concidering the fact that you deal with highly sensitive information..social security numbers etc. but in all sincerity. you should really think twice about throwing your former employees names out there, not only is it tacky, but really unproffesional. good luck with future endevors (you will need it)

To the above comment... ur clearly a supervisor of bb attempting to do some damage control. if u work there u know that the company is a horrible place aside from working hard. i worked very hard and was still disgusted by the office. its not like every job its horrible. there is no moving up in that job and u know it. so go sit down somewhere.

    Posted by jf264 on 11/06/2009
IN RESPONSE TO THE COMMENT ABOVE:

"There happens to be a HANDFUL of Binder and Binder who do care about there job, and do care about there clients."
BINDER AND BINDER CARES ABOUT NUMBERS, NOT CLIENTS!TAKING THE TIME TO CARE ABOUT THE INDIVIDUAL CLIENT SLOWS "PRODUCTION"

"i have seen first hand, some supervisors coming in at 6 am just to make sure her clients get taken care of".
I HAVE SEEN THEM COME IN EARLY TO MAKE SURE THAT "PRODUCTION IS MET". WITH THE NUMBER OF EMPLOYEES THAT KEEP WALKING OUT THE DOOR, THEY HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO PICK UP THE SLACK.

    Posted by jf264 on 11/06/2009
"these are some of the people who go the extra mile to make sure Binder wins cases".

I THINK THIS COMMENT SAYS IT ALL: THE IMPORTANT ISSUE AT HAND IS THAT BINDER WIN CASES, NOT THAT EACH INDIVIDUAL CASE BE WON. ITS A NUMBERS GAME!

    Posted by wmorman on 11/09/2009
You bring up many valid points but this is not something you should be presenting to the public, unless you are asking the public to do work you should do. Meaning, are you asking us to file your complaint or just bickering? The complaint needs to be filed through OSHA http://www.osha.gov/.

Next, If you are going to document a complaint that many people will be seeing you should probably check for grammar and spelling if you want to actually be taken seriously.

I did read your whole article, and I do believe you have a good case. Now you need to file this complaint with the correct people!

No its not tacky or wrong to expose bad workplaces that are involved in life and death benefits. Binder and Binder sells out its clients for less, it fails to present full medical facts its TV ads are false you have to babysit them and doctors every step of the way and know the laws and rules and the medical. They do let other mess with their clients and destruct or provide false evidence including false medical reports from the SSA's own Doctors. They make sneaky deals against their clients consent and will, violating the rules of law and SSA. Face it they are in it for the fast buck easy wins that most of the clients could win without lawyers. If the case becomes hard they drop it or drag their feet, or loose it or get fired then want money win the victim wins later on their own or with another lawyer. Look at the SSA listing how much money these lawyers are making exploiting disabled and dying people trying to make people work who are dying of the 3 leading causes of death that could drop dead any day and no doctor can honestly say when they will die. Millions exploited yearly from the disabled in Atty fees What a disgrace. Dont try saying they are in it to help the poor disabled thats a bear faced lie they are in it for the money and control of who lives or dies who gets cheated or delayed in benefits and who dont and each agency doctors, lawyers all work together except independants that better be smart and good to win at this fixed game of exploiting the disabled many already injuried by jobs that cheated them out of workers coomps, medical mistakes or other bad products that arent being held accountable and paying the damages they caused and further proof is federal laws provide that gov an state may sue for third party damages yet they dont if they do its for them not the victim again using and exploiting the victims. So sound off loud and clear the dirty deeds of the system and thoses involved you are the real Hero's the ones who look bad and guilty are those who try to silence you. They likely work for people just like Binder or its one of Binders own people trying to shut you up to do damage control and keep the dirty lil secrets hidden from the public who hires them or did hire them and will take a second look at their claim and how it was handled they may have been cheated to.

poor baby.. little baby doesn't like his office.. awwwee isn't this sad? No, it's not sad and no one cares about your office or wharehouse or whatever.. why don't you just stay home and sit and rot in some homeless shelter? This is the absolutely worst complaint I've ever personally seen. Binder is offering you an opportunity to make money and work. This is America no one bangs on your door with a gun at you demanding you to do anything. Therefore whatever you do, you have no right to complain about it because you are also free to quit, go somewhere else, or go into a different field. By the way how could you possibly be an 'attorney' having a 2nd grade vocabulary? I think complaints should be made about people like you taking a job from someone who actually learned how to write in 2nd grade. This complaint is baseless and made by an illiterate.

It's really sad that the last comment I see here is someone mocking others for having a 2nd grade vocabulary. "By the way", use commas

Well I only have this to say to Esheskhayil "czitaglio" is saying that for those who don't work hard and pay into the SS system are getting money for nothing and it isn't fair. So when it does come time for the younger or the diabiled that have worked HARD and paid into the SS system should be able to get there money. That is why it is sooooo hard to get whast you paid into bc there are crooked people out there and when one does wrong, it makes it messed up for the others that do what is right. So read that carefully! And for B

I am embarrassed to even write about this, but I am in my 40-s and worked and paid taxes into the system. I got laid off and haven't worked for four years. Why? I know this is embarrassing, but I gained so much weight I ballooned up to 480lbs, and none of my clothes fit. I lost some weight and can fit in jeans, but my suits no and slacks no way. I want to work terribly, but not having clothes is preventing me from working. I have tried for years to lose the weight, but just can't do it. I haven't been to a doctor in years, so I have no medical records. I have lost my entire savings. Can anyone tell me if I could successfully get SSDI (at least temporarily) while I try to get back into my old work clothes? I am desperate and worried I am going to end up on the streets.

I am a former employee of Binder

I worked for Binder for approximately 2 years. All I can say is that you do not want to file a claim with them. Go to a local lawyer. They do not send lawyers to do your cases, but rather inexperienced non-attorney representatives, usually straight out of undergrad. These people get maybe 3 months of training and then are "qualified" to represent you in your claim. The fact is, Mr. Binder will often string clients along in order to obtain more money. The more case stages you lose, the more money they get on remand. They have a revolving door staff, and you are likely to go through five to upwards of 25 caseworkers, all who know nothing about your claim. Furthermore, embarrassing medical records are passed throughout the office to the staff's amusement. Trust me, you don't want to do business with this company.

I worked there 5 years ago and I quit because they never provided me with health insurance with a legitimate reason. The company policy stated that if employees voluntarily give up their health ins the company will convert the money otherwise used for health ins. and put them in our monthly paychecks. I never got either the health insurance or extra money for three months after passing the three-month probationary period. I reported this to the office manager and he said I never submitted any paperwork to waive the insurance

however, I did on my first day of work! Since I was inexperienced enough not to retain all signed copies (I was a fresh grad back then) I couldn't show proof and get back my money. There were other reasons I decided to quit. The salary was barely minimum wage (I had a B.A. degree from UC) and the caseload was like 200 per month. I figured this was a dead-end job, along with "losing" my health insurance, I quit working there. So far, this has been my worst work experience working for Binders. As to how the company treating the clients, oh they don't care about them at all. They would simply drop the case if the attorneys don't see any profit-making opportunities in it. We were told to only spend more time on clients who are most likely wining the case. One time I went all the way to help a client who almost died from suicide by filling out some paperwork for them to expedite the hearing process, as soon as the assigned attorney found out I was yelled like crazy saying I was wasting time (about an hr) in a case that probably would lose. Now that I'm making triple compare to 5 years ago, I'm glad that I made the right decision to quit Binder and Binder. At least I'm not helping someone to rip off people who are already disabled. PLEASE DO NOT USE BINDER AND BINDER!

First thing you need to do is learn how to spell and speak properly.I will not take your complaint serious when you sound ignorant.
Also the last I knew the paying of break times are the opposite of what you stating, if you work over four hours you are entitled to a 10 or 15 min break, and anything six to eight a 30 min break and no they do not have to pay those breaks, that is up to the company and the goodness of their hearts so technically they can work you 6 hrs straight as a full time person before they give you a uninterupted break and they can request you to clock out as well. also if you are interupted during your non paid break and it is work related they are suppose to pay you for you 30 mins or give you another one. I am sure things vary state to state but most of these rules are Federal. maybe you need to read the company policy books and the state and federal laws concerning these issues to help back you up.

If you are offered an interview w/ Binder and Binder at the Hauppauge, NY or Call Center office (If you interview w/ an older lady named Joyce, you're call center. If you interview w/ a middle aged blonde or a brunette named Brenda you're Hauppauge) Call center- you will be offered between 11 - 12.50 /hr you will do Reception, Data entry, or Customer Service. Hauppauge you will pretend to be an attorney, you're pay maxes at around 15/hr. If you need a job dress semi casual- khakis button up, bring a resume that says something about customer service / phone skills, they ask for reference but do not check them. You'll hate your job and the supervisors. You're basically going back to highschool- the drama is intense. It's a paycheck. See you at lunch :)
