I own a 2006 Jeep with 38,000 miles, the catalytic converter needs replacing/ check engine light is on. The part has been on back order since 7/29/10. The part is under warranty for 8 years or 80,000 miles.
The jeep is at Troncalli Jeep in Cumming, GA. I have been in contact with Troncalli and Chrysler Corporation multiple times since 7/29/10. We were told 2 weeks ago that the part would arrive at Troncalli within days and finally given a rental car for 7 days, after 7 days still no part and they extended the rental for an addition 7 days. I was told Tuesday 9/28/10 that the part is still not in however we would have to return the rental and they would not give us anything to drive after 10/1/10. I again spoke with Bryan the case manager at Chrysler corporation and was told tough luck not our problem just not in those words. I contacted Troncalli and was told our hands are tied and we would need to work things out with Chrysler corporation.
I have a Jeep that is under WARRANTY and I have not be able to drive it since 7/29/10 because Troncalli cannot repair it. I have of course continued to pay the payment now (3 payments) since it has been drivable and for all but 14 days have not had anything to drive. I want to expose Chrysler/ Jeep/ Troncalli and eveyone else that has any power to do whats right by a long term customer.
I am willing to tell my story to the world. I am tired of big companies with rich executives just treating people like that do not care at all.
How I am the customer suppose to go to work without a vehicle to drive so I can make the payment on a vehicle I bought from this big company making all the money and saying tough luck to me the customer.
