BEWARE OF FRAUDLENT INVOICES - Directory Listing

Received an Invoice for the Amount of $480.95 payable in 30 days from an American Yellow Group (address on the invoice 325 Pennsylvania Ave. SE, Washington, DC 20043- Invoice mailed from Platisburgh, NY)- I personally put add for my business and I have never contacted American Yellow Group company to place an Ad and no one from this company have never talked to be knowingly for placing an Ad. I know there are people that they pay for the invoices they receive. I tried to call the number on the invoice 1-866-292-5660 but there is no live person to answer the phone. You may try yourself to see if you get any responses.

I also received an invoice for $480.95 from American Yellow Group and the adress is 325 Pennsylvania Ave,SE Washington, DC 2003 Phone # 1-866-292-5660. I also tried to call the phone number and got an answering machine. I am glad I looked it up on internet before submitting payment-SCAM!!!!

I got the exact same invoice. I figured it was a scam.

My husbands office received the same invoice for $480.95 on June 24, 2011. It was titled in red" COLLECTION WARNING". Also in red "LAST CHANCE TO PROTECT YOUR CREDIT SCORE IN GOOD STANDING!!!". I called the number at the top and got a voice mail. I reported this to the Inspector of the Postal Service tonight.

After receiving a "past due" invoice, slated for collections, for a company I had never heard of, I decided to check it out on line. Same story. American Yellow Group Inc. Mine was $489.95. I knew that I had not approved any additional yellow pages directories, as I have actually decreased them this year. The invoice was also very unprofessional. Beware !

I too, received an unauthorized invoice from American Yellow Group. This is a scam, please do not pay this invoices. I'll forward this bill to my attorney.
