I bought a 01 Hyundai Santa Fe in December of 04 from Baron Auto Mall in RT 112 in Medford NY. The very next day of getting the truck i started hearing a clicking sound I called the dealer up and told them about the problem I later took the vechile back to them, my truck was in there repair shop for 19 days and they did not fix the problem.I had recently started a new job so I was really upset and took the vechile back from them. Recently I found out that I was getting tranfered to a different store to work. So I decided that I want to get my truck fixed because my job requires me to travel alot furtured than normally would. I call up Baron Auto Mall and told them about it, they told me to just take it to the closest Hyundai dealer ship because whatever is worng with the truck they should be able to fix it because it is still under warrenty. I took my truck to Alantic Hyundai in Bayshore NY. I dropper of my Vechile on April 4th 2006. They told me now that the engine block head is damaged and it was due to a lack of manitances, and also it costing my $1400 to get back my truck as it which they never told me in the beginning it was going to cost anything. I called up Hyundai Motor corp and I just found out this vechile had a branded title on it pervious to me buying the truck and I was not informed about this the time when I brought the vechile. MY car been in there repair shop over two weeks and still they didn't put my vechile back together. I think this is really redicklous and I have to pay $1400 and nothing was fixed or they said it's going to cost $7500 to fix the proble. I don't think I should have to pay a penny for this and should be compansatated some how for the stress and the lost wages for work. these two dealer's keep running me around.
