May of 2011, I was experiencing a decrease in my income. After 10 years of non late mortgage payments, I called Bank of America to request a Home loan Modifocation. They sent the paperwork to me and a fullfilled the request of paperwork and copies of what they requested. I called back in 10 days to check on the status of the modification. At this time I was told I haven't sent back the required documents. I did in fact send them back. In fact I sent them back a total of 4 more times between June and September of 2011. I couldn't understand why they were telling me I had not sent them. Calling B of A was useless. I would get transferred and hung up on almost every time I called and no one seemed to know how to answer me. I finally got a letter in October 2011 stating I was denied because I had not sent in my paperwork. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I have now depleted my savings trying to keep up with my payments, and received a notice to accelerate. Why isn't b of a helping me?
