consumers BEWARE of Bank of America. They have managed to find a way of duping probably millions of "Americans" through their shady tactics. Their system is set up purposely to confuse and mislead the individual(s) trying to manage their accounts and therefore making it extremely easy to incur late charges and subsequent finance charges as well. After giving them multiple chances to redeem themselves, I have finally decided to cancel my accounts, and will NEVER AGAIN do business with them. BE CAREFUL in that they have a common practice in "saying" that you did not have enough funds in your account to cover payments that you are making (ALTHOUGH YOU HAVE IT - and KNOW YOU DO) in the name of AGAIN....hitting you with finance charges and late payments. They in fact WONT tell you your payment wasn't processed,returned,etc... they will just allow your account to rack up late fees, until you go to make another payment, or your credit card is declined, and you RUDELY find this out ON YOUR OWN. It would be interesting to know how much money they make from these shady practices alone. I can bet A LOT.
